Nigerians are exposed to a high risk of meningitis because of the high temperature compared to other countries outside Africa. Preventive measures of meningitis stop the spread of the disease because it is highly contagious too. The disease causes an inflammation in the brain and spinal cord leading to other health complications. Our preventive health campaign at Ejemen Foundation targets everyone helping to stop the spread of the diseases.
