The Late Princess Janet Ejemen Obamogie

Princess Ejemen Foundation was set up in the year 2003 in memory of the late Princess Ejemen.

She was born on December 12, 1932 at Urohi, Ishan, Edo state to the late Mr. and Mrs. Amiolemen.

She married Prince G.I. Obamogie in 1951 and traveled through out Nigeria as her husband's job took them to difference cities in Nigeria. She had eight children, the oldest is Dr. Mercy Obamogie, a U.S. trained physician.

Princess Ejemen was selfless, caring and hardworking. She was a mother to all children including those that were not biologically hers. Her home was an open pantry to everyone. She gave to the society magnanimously without any inhibition.

Her desire was to be a role model towards establishing a better society. She traveled extensively to the United States and had shared in her daughter's vision and concerns with regard to helping orphans of HIV/AIDS Victims in Africa.
